It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

We are currently applying for funding for this project.

"Just Lidding", putting lids on your kids, is an innovative program that combines creativity, education, and community engagement to promote the importance of wearing a helmet while skateboarding or using any wheeled sports equipment. This project has been designed with the understanding that promoting safety precautions can be more effective when done in a fun, interactive, and appealing way. The initiative will run for twelve months from Mother's Day, March 30th, 2025, under the theme "Wear a Helmet for Your Mum." Our project aims to engage children aged 8-16 and their families through a short presentation with an animation film followed by two pre-arranged workshops: decorating a helmet or a skateboard deck. Each workshop will run for 4 hours, and the participants will keep their personalised equipment. We aim to run at least two free monthly workshops for twenty children. Objectives include sparking creativity among participants in these sessions whilst enhancing public awareness about the importance of wearing helmets through the animated film and discussions. Preparation for the launch will commence in mid-November 2024 with the production of the film/documentary demonstrating our TARN (Trauma Audit Research Network) data and statistics about skateboarding accidents/injuries and demonstrating the fun of the sport. The marketing campaign will commence simultaneously, promoting the project across the skateboard and local community groups.
